Auditory illusions with examples from Daft Punk

Listening to Daft Punk every now and then is a never aging event for me. Their albums have a variety of musical diversity, and you can always enjoy their fairly repetitive songs on boring household activities. ‘One more time, we’re gonna celebrateh! Oh yeah, Don’t stop the washing!’ Well, one of the most influential electronic duos of the millennium had plenty of tricks in their bag to put into their music. Today, I will try to introduce three of them with examples.

ChatGPT has entered onto the scene like a superstar taking to the stage. As a language model, it has demonstrated exceptional cognitive skills. Given these remarkable attributes, is it feasible to teach ChatGPT to act like a philosopher and engage in dialogue? To find an answer to this question, I set up two ChatGPT instances and linked them to each other to enable communication between them. The following prompt is given for the first instance:

Hunting down the similar words between Japanese & Turkish

It is a common myth in Turkey that the Japanese and the Turks shared a common root at some point in history. There are several reasons for this belief: the historical proximity of pro-Turkic tribes to the Japanese is an important reason, and the similarity of the languages is also an argument. There were even some linguists who proposed that Asian languages had a common root, known as the Altaic language theory. However, this theory has been abandoned by the linguistic community, at least to my knowledge. The contemporary perspective is that the two languages don’t share a common root.
